Come, Come Ye Saints

I shared the story of Great Grandpa George Brooks’ pioneer journey from Wales to St. George, Utah in a sacrament meeting recently. The topic was on “sacrifices bring blessings.” Just before my talk there was a beautiful cello & piano musical number, “Come, Come Ye Saints.” I wasn’t planning on sharing the pioneer story, but after the musical number I felt such a love and desire to share his story of faith & courage. How blessed we are to have so many ancestors who loved Jesus Christ & His restored gospel. They had such faith & conviction to accept this truth and live it. It was a blessing in their lives. But, oh what a choice gift it is to us-their posterity! Happy Pioneer Days! We love you all.
